Meet David Tang
David Tang, DDS has practiced over 25 years.
He is a graduate of UCLA Dental School and
did his specialty residency at The
University of Texas. His experience working
with adults for twelve years prior to
specializing in children gives him a unique
perspective into planning long term benefits
for your children.
Treating your children
gives me no greater satisfaction. I am so
thankful that the Lord granted me the gifts
to care for your children's dental health. I
have been blessed to practice in a community
that is well-educated and aware of the
benefits and opportunities for superior
health for children.
When I graduated from
Northwestern University, I returned to my
home in California to attend the University
of California, Los Angeles Dental School. I
was fortunate enough to attend the
University of Texas Dental School for my
Pediatric Residency and fell in love with
the lifestyle of the true South. Houston is
a wonderful place to raise a family. We are
members of Grace Presbyterian Church and
live in the local community. I have been
active in our professional organization, the
Greater Houston Dental society, as a member,
Treasurer, Vice President and President. I
have traveled on mission trips to the
Yucatan and the Honduras. I enjoy hunting
and fishing when the opportunities arise. My
other hobbies include tennis, restoring old
cars, camping, and four-wheeling.
Designing treatment plans
that give the best options for parents to
care for their children is my sincerest
desire. From care that will allow the
optimal growth opportunities and the
nurturing of good habits for your children
to care that is restricted by other personal
considerations, every child should be
afforded at least routine semi-annual
exposure to proper dental care. As a
pediatric dental specialist, my care exceeds
routine care. A detailed orthognathic
examination is performed at each visit.
Relating the child's health history to their
dental status is vital to total health care.
Diets are examined from a dental performance
as well as a nutritional basis. Everything
possible to make your child comfortable and
safe will be provided.
I look forward to meeting
you and your children. Through constant
upgrading of facilities and staff we are
able to provide the best care for our
families. The latest technologies include
digital x-rays to reduce radiation exposures
and improve diagnostics to the latest
fluoride choices to reduce cavities. It is
truly my pleasure to serve all of your
children's dental needs.
Dr . Tang is on staff at
Texas Children's Hospital. Very young
children or those with special needs may
require use of the hospital's facilities.
For your child's comfort and positive first
experiences, oral conscious sedation and
intravenous sedations with a Board Certified
Anesthesiologist is available. When parents
want the best care for their children, they
come to the office of Dr. David Tang.
Meet Dr. Brock
Dr. Jason Brock, DDS grew up outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His dad is a dentist in the small town where he lived, so Dr. Brock had a lot of exposure to dentistry at an early age. While it made a positive impression on him, he decided to explore another interest first, filmmaking. After receiving his undergraduate degrees in Art History and Film from the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Brock moved to Los Angeles to attend the American Film Institute where he received a Masters of Fine Arts in Film Producing. He worked for five years in Hollywood at a Talent Agency and some Production Companies before deciding to go back to school.
After taking pre-requisite classes at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Dr. Brock attended New York University School of Dentistry. While in dental school, he was very active in many organizations including student council, the American Student Dental Association and was a founding member of NYU’s Peer Review Board. He was also the recipient of the NYU Award for Ethics. Upon graduation, Dr. Brock was fortunate to come back to Texas to complete his residency in pediatric dentistry at UT Houston School of Dentistry and feels so blessed to now call Houston his permanent home.
Dr. Brock loves working with children and looks forward to being a part of your child’s education and oral health well being. He enjoys serving both local and global communities from teaching Sunday school to outreaches in countries like Grenada. His belief is that prevention is the key to a healthy mouth. He also feels passionate about ethical treatment of patients and advocating for their wellbeing.
New York is also the city where Dr. Brock met his wife, Karen, who currently teaches high school math at Emery/Weiner High School. They look forward to starting a family in Houston and have begun with their adorable Tibetan Terrier named Willow. On weekends, they attend First Presbyterian Church of Houston. In his free time, Dr. Brock loves playing golf and learning to play hockey with his wife. He also enjoys Pittsburgh sports, soccer, cooking, and spending time with his extended family here in Houston.
